Hi, I'm in need of some help
I have a 2003 Cali EV
Will crank but not fire.
Can hear fuel pump when key turned on
Relays click with power etc swapped positions to see if that helped, nope.
External fuel pump, replaced and it works
Fuel filter replaced last year
Replace spark plugs, No spark
She was acting a little wired at 80 miles per hour. When I gave more throttle, she hesitated (spitting)

Any hints or anyone had this before?

Check what is common to ignition. That is power to coils, that the phase sensor is in range, and connector at the ecu,

my 01 sits for 7 months every year and i need to pull all of myDP relays and fuses and clean them up. put a big towel on the front fender and flush the ignition switch, pull the cam position sensor and clean it off. if there is a flywheel sensor do it too.
next TPS

Yes, the fuel pump stops.

Vagrant: What do you use to flush the ignition switch?

I went ahead and ordered relays from dpguzzi

William, I'm not sure that flushing the EV switch would do much good. The switch part is pretty isolated from the key mechanism. On some bikes I've added relays to the switch circuits when a switch contact fails. The Guzzi engineers put too much current through that switch for it to have a long life. They seem to have corrected that issue with the CARC bikes as the ignition switch now enables relays. I would recommend making sure all the circuits out of the switch are live that are suppose to be when the key is on.

It is the phase sensor on the front left of the engine. The ecu needs a signal to know when to fire a spark and this sensor provides that.
Easy to test. the resistance should be about 680-700 ohms. The sensors are available online from ebay and a couple other sources for about $30 to 40.

great possibility too. I forgot you do need to pull these once in a while and wipe them off. Don't loose any of the spacer washers though. same if you have a sensor on the flywheel too.
