Emblem is Peeling off Norge Tank

I guess it's called an emblem, but whatever it is, it's peeling off.
I would like to remove it completely and clean the glue/crap off the tank. That would leave the red Moto Guzzi plate by itself.
So what's the best product to cleanly remove the glue/crap off the tank?

Well that was easy. Other than being thankful I had a couple of longish finger nails.
Next time I wash the bike I'll wax it too and bring back the shine in the tank.

Funny how that separated with only the Guzzi name remaining. I think it is the optional Guzzi tank protector. I have an Agostini one on mine. Looks the same but less $$ and no Guzzi emblem.
