Hi all
I was out for a ride at the weekend when my 2007 Norge started to play up:
Whenever I rode above about 100 kph I would get an intermittent service light (the red one), the tacho and speed would both drop to zero and, sometimes and little graphic indicating the ECU was disconnected would appear in the lower instrument display (I assume that's what it meant). This would happen for about 4-5 second then it would all be OK then it would happen again in another 10 -30 seconds. No apparent pattern. The engine never missed a beat. If I slowed to about 80 kph, the problem went away but it would come back if I increased speed.
My riding companions noted that my tail-light and head light were intermittently flashing - POSSIBLY in synch with the dashboard error?
I'm thinking a short circuit somewhere but there are no blown fuses and below 80 kph the bike is normal.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
