I rode the Audace many miles yesterday. Some freeway, some city, some mountain roads full of fun twists and turns. It was fantastic in all aspects. I chased my buddy around on his new Griso. We had a great time. I can't believe how good that big girl handles. I even had a old codger pull out in front of me. I had to do a fast emergency slow down. The bike worked perfectly. I am slightly disabled due to a motorcycle accident. Most bikes are uncomfortable now. The Audace is marvelous. My throttle hand did go a little numb but that was the arm that got rebuilt. My hand is not at the same angle it used to be. My buddy calls my Audace a 180lbs ballerina. Who would of thought a big heavy bike could dance so well. My California is also a pleasure to ride. Once I get the suspension on her I expect to really love that bike.

I had a 2013 1400 Custom for a while & agree with you 100%.
The handling on the 1400 series Guzzi is amazing.
it just don't seem possible for a bike of that size to handle like that.

The audace tires my throttle hand as well and it isn't the one I trashed(as a teen I broke 18 bones either 22 or 24 times in my left hand).

That being said yea the bike handles far better than you would expect it to. I test drove the one I ended up buying and was shocked at how well it did(I was thinking of something else but the looks of the bike just kept drawing me to it at the dealer). They are amazing bikes.

My throttle hand goes numb on the Eldo -- don't know why.

Like you I had an accident that left me with issues. My hip, mainly. I like the more laid back ergos of the Eldo for that reason. I agree it's amazing how well these bikes handle.
