I don't like the standard aluminium only footpegs on the Sport. Slippery with wet feet and no isolation. Found that CBR600 footpegs DIRECTLY bolt in- everything- pin, spring and peg themselves. They look vaguely correct also. Guzzi footpegs were pretty expensive- Norge, Breva or Bellagio would have been nice to fit. :(

I bought two pairs of front ones for $19 delivered off ebay. I was tempted to drill one set for the ball bearing/spring arrangement for the rear pegs but didn't seem to have enough alloy to play with. Instead I ground the peg down with a grinder until one of the original shims fit between the peg and the side of the mount and with an interference fit the peg will stay up or down as desired. :)

Footpeg

Good to know, I have the same problem in that sometimes my foot slowly moves out and then slips off the end of the peg.
Only started to happen when I brought some new boots but does help to keep you awake if you start to day dream though.

I opted for the Norge footrest set - problem solved. Cost around $160 AUD from memory - also bolts straight on.

Had a problem of slippery original foot pegs too. First aid = file 2-3 scratches on the outer top surface of the peg with triangular file, in a way that you create about 90 or more degree burr perpendicular to yout foot sliding direction. 0,5-1mm deep is enough to prevent sliding.
Later switched to Honda Goldwing 2002 footpegs. Direct fit except springs, use 'em without springs at all. Even more comfortable for feet-maneuvering while on the bike, pegs fold up easily and don't hit legs. The Goldwing ones are some 1-2 sm lower, wider and longer, with rubber padding. But still too cramped leg position, would prefer much lower pegs (long legs, do not fit into many cars comfortably).
