V7 Registry & Picture thread -- ADD YOUR BIKE

Hi there,

after reading a lot on this forum and also getting advice from you guys (thanks Todd) I am the proud owner of a V7III Special in the infamous blue livery.
No luggage accessories yet so I had to improvise. Second day of ownership = 500 km trip :)
Seems that Google Photos are not insurable. Am I doing something wrong?

Well congrats! Love to get your VIN# and info for the first post of this thread.

Hi new here, this is my black beauty 2016 V7ll
Thanks Jonathon, congrats. Thanks for posting. Can you include your VIN# and related for the first post of the thread?
Love to hear the story on how your Racer ended up with a black tank, but I can wager a guess.

Was wondering, which part of the vin denotes the fabrication year? I had the impression that it is the group before the "HM". But I have a 00X there, not a number. And Vagrant's V7III blue has a 07...? Is there a format/pattern?

Hi all - New V7 III Special owner and forum member here. VIN# ZGULDUA06HM000027. Really loving the bike so far. Not so much my recent experience after my initial service check, but will save that for another thread. I've been wanting a Guzzi since the first time I laid eyes on one about 10 years ago... had no idea what a Moto Guzzi was, but saw an old V7 parked in downtown Oakland, and knew that one day I'd have to have one!

Excellent, congrats! Can you list the VIN# and the rest of the info for the first post of this thread? Here or email is fine.

Stornello V7II, Stockholm Sweden here. Love the bike so far, now 800 km on the clock. After testing stones/specials and racers (and a couple of Triumphs) this pulled the trigger. VIN ZGULW6004GM000226 #419 out of 1000. Love the look, lines, paint job and what have you.. the Stornello was irresistible to me.

Been involved in classic cars for many years, for me it is a 1964 Volvo P1800S probably unknown in the US but it has the same kind of beauty to me.
