Looking for advice

Whilst riding home from work today my 2012 V7 racer starting running rough, backfiring and one stage stalled. Started agin no problem but was idling rough and backfiring when revved mostly out of the lhs exhaust.

Managed to limp home but it wasn't happy. Seemed to go better at higher revs.

Bike has done 23000 trouble free Klms up till now.

had done 70 Klms since I last fuelled up yesterday and suspect it may be dirty fuel.

Pulled the plugs and they looked fine. Air filter is clean

I havnt drained the fuel as yet .

Any ideas?

If it's mostly the LH exhaust, I'd check it for leaks. Make sure it's nice and tight. Dirty fuel, I'd recommend chevron techron concentrate plus fuel cleaner, just don't use the whole bottle! As for the plugs, I personally would change them out just to be sure and do the boots while you're at it. I have mine gapped at .9mm with good results. I'd recommend NGK XD05F Resistor Spark Plug Caps, much better than the crap that comes from the factory and NGK (2306) CPR8EA-9 Standard Spark Plugs.
