So, bored yesterday, I drilled out the holes on the injector covers, smoothed with my Dremel and painted with hammered silver paint. Then, masked off most of the right side and painted the rear brake master cylinder with hammered black paint, masked off the window, tho. I didn't like it sitting out there obvious. Yes, I did shorten foot pegs about an inch to keep them from grabbing me at a stop.

Looks good........ I think???? Can post a profile picture of the entire bike please.
Maybe the same color on the rear fender next time you're bored.

I like the way the carbon pattern follows the cylinder fins at that angle. I might try the wrapping thing sometime.

You are giving me ideas....mystified why Guzzi put a piece of plastic for these covers...by the way, where did you get the keen side bags for your V7 III? I like them.

The side bags are from Chase-Harper, I think called "solo bags". I've used Chase-Harper tank and saddle bags since the '70's and are top made in USA quality. I like a smaller size bag, and I bolted them on with rubber insulated "P" clamps with a stiffener on back, normal mounting is throw over the seat style.

That's EXACTLY what I had been thinking of doing with my blue Special's injector covers, and now that I've seen yours, I'm definitely doing it. Thanks for the preview!!!

I'm also going to remove the black crud from the cylinder fin edges.

The hammered paint doesn't show up in pic, but looks more metal-y than plain silver paint up close, which looks like, well, plastic. And the fins (on mine anyway) don't look great up close because the fins are not a uniform thickness, kinda wavy. I used a Dremel, then tried to dress up with a fine flat file.
