Have been thinking about buying the Moto Guzzi MultiMedia Platform and apologies if this has been asked before (as you can see new here). Has anyone installed one, I cant seem to find any installation details on the net apart from the necessity of buying a separate installation kit !

Any advice welcome :)

Guzzi has it on their extranet site just like all accs, have the dealer print it off w/you pick it up.
Thanks Steve, but I don't want to order something without knowing whats involved, I asked my local dealer and they had no idea as no one has ever bought one. Catch 22 of sorts

You might want to google this before committing, most of the comments are not very positive. I was going to get it for my Anniversario, but after lots of Forum and web reading decided not to.

Good idea Maya, just did as suggested - think you just saved me the best part of £300 - by the way I was looking for an Anniversario myself, totally impossible to find now here in the UK, gorgeous bike, I am very envious :)

Yeah, they are gorgeous, I hope to pick it up next week. Just having the dealer install a center stand for me. Easier to do maintenance that way.

Is it a new bike or used, did wonder about a centre stand but decided not to bother as no real maintenance apart for occasional oil check to be done, annual service will be done by dealer so the warrantee is still covered etc

Brand new, I'll be the first and only owner (at least for a long time). My first new bike, heck my first bike in almost 25 years.
I plan to do the service work myself so the center stand will be a big help.

That fantastic and I admire you for obviously doing your research, I must have owned over 25 bikes in as many years and i can honestly say that my MG is one of if not the most enjoyable. Its not by a long way the fastest, or possibly the best handling but as an all round package its brilliant and has a sort of charm and soul I have only ever found in older classic bikes. Do post a photo when it arrives, i'm almost as excited as you !

So whats the deal on the platform? I'd like a USB connection - and possibly other benefits it will/(can?) provide. Is it rubbish?
