I have a Stelvio (2009) can anyone explain exactly how you access the menu using the mode button on the left bar?

I can cycle through Trip, Clock, AVG Fuel, Max fuel etc... this has a 1 displayed to the right, only once has this said 2 and I had options for heated grips etc but I fumbled upon it and don't know how I accessed it.

The mode button simply presses left, right and in, that's it?

I've searched on here and can't seem to find an answer which leads me to believe it's me being a numpty?

Any help or piss takes welcome. :)

Hi, I hope you understand me(maybe if I can explain to you is better)
1° gear in neutral position and motor off
2° pull on right side the button of menu. If change only from trip 1 to trip 2 pull again for a few of second on the right side.

Try it and say something..

You can also flip the button fast or slow, or as they say long and short. Some are fussy, you got to play w/it.

I've tried quickly pressing and tried holding it but it does nothing, I know it MUST work because I once was in the next menu but have no idea how I got there! Doh!

Hey XP'.. Just to say, I have the Identical Bike' and It's Not You'.. aha' In that it's a Secret' .. Though not mentioned of included in the Operations Manual', but the fact is, you have to be a 'Professionally Licenced Wizard' to operate the 'Mode Switch' on these Bikes, with any sense of Consistency or Reward.. Just went through this very thing yesterday, chasing down the otherwise 'Intermittent Misfire Dilema'.. Bike Quit' for no apparent reason from a Buck Forty' on the Freeway'.. Arm in the Air' .. Not Run Over' make it to the side of the Road'.. What Th' Hay is Goin On Here Now' I'm thinkin.. Turn the Key Off'.. Back On'.. Off' On'.. Mode Switch' Push, Flip, Fast, Slow, Left, Right, I Don't Know' .. Managed to finally get to Manual Menu', Identify ECU Errors.. Clear Errors, Reset ECU.. Exit.. Bike Fired Back Up Instantly and ran perfect for another 10Km before it Dropped a Cylinder and went through the Whole Thing again'.. Round (2)... This Time I had a 'SERVICE BANNER' across the bottom of my Dashboard... and now Totally Pissed Off'.. I'm sure I was not consistent, in my Mode Toggle Switch Inputs' .. but did manage to Display ECU. Errors, Clear Errors & RESET Service' ... 3 min. later I was once again Full Rip'.. and I'm not a Wizard.. It's kinda a Luv Hate Thing'.. but Still mostly Luv'.. Cheers'

I have no idea WTF you are talking about. I’ve operated the mode switch on several Stelvis of different years, and it has worked perfect every time.

Sorry, but you must be ham-fisting it. That’s the only explination I can think of.

Followed the manual provided by Scott and all is good. 2 second hold right then repeat and you’re into the menu, works every time.
