Hello all, i had the red triangle come on the dash yesterday so i immediately took bike home only about two miles, when i accelerated the light would go off, when i stopped it came back on until i moved. I got in to the diagnostics and found that there is an x under the mode column M, i see that it is an oil pressure failure. I started the bike this morning and let it run for a bit and no light and it sounds normal. I see that other people have had this issue, just wondering the outcome, I'm hoping it's not too serious. Bike has about 6800 miles. Any insight would be appreciated

M indicates in memory, so it could have been at any time. If it is in the A column it is currently active and requires immediate attention. Most likely culprit is the oil pressure sensor, or the connection at the sensor.

Thanks, is there any way to check the sensor or should i just replace it. no Guzzi dealers here so i will be doing this myself

Check the connection first. If the fault continues, then replace the sensor. I don't know of a good way to just test the sensor in the bike.

If you have an early Norge, then the new sensor has a different connector, so you'll have to change that on the wiring as well. I don't believe the old style sensor is available any longer (and you don't want it anyway). Just something else to be aware of before you tear down your bike.
