Hey All;

I am looking at getting the following wireless helmet brake light.

What I am wondering is exactly how I wire the transmitter to the brake and turn signals. I see that the controller has ground and brake and turn wires (4 in total). Looks like in the Guzzi wiring diagram I would have to splice/connect each of the 4 to one of the Guzzi wires. Is that about right?

It looks fairly straight forward what you have to do. Just hope that the ECU/Dashboard doesn't notice it and whip out a "SERVICE" on the dash.

Would be interested on an update when fitted.

Would that not be considered "modifying the helmet" and therefore void the safety rating?
It's an interesting point, I think it all depends on where you are. Here in Canada I already checked with the police and they said that so long as it does not affect the integrity of the shell then it is OK. So since it attaches via sticky tape, it is fine. Elsewhere in the world I do not know, though someone stated on a different forum that in at least one part of Australia (sorry can't remember which one), even applying stickers was against the law.

Yes correct. Some stickers will eat into the resin and weaken it. So not just any old sticker is safe. Gopro's and other helmet cams also have the same issues. Like anything its all fine until someone gets hurt and starts the blame game. I know out here insurers are not too keen on paying out if they can find some tiny reason that they dont have to.
