Better Head Gaskets for V7II?

Hey guys,

I have had this issue come up 3 times now on my 2016 V7II. Right side head gasket started leaking at 16,000mi, then the left side gasket at 17,000mi. Now the right side is leaking again at 22,000mi. Heads were retorqued after 500mi for each replacement. Left side seems to be holding up for now.

I read that the new V7III does not even require a head retorque due to the newer gaskets they are using. Is there something like this I could get to use on the V7II and hopefully stop this issue from reoccurring?

Sean, yes the III uses all steel head gaskets, and no they will not fit or work on the heron head motor.
I would suggest contact Cometic gaskets and ask for an all metal Guzzi V7 head gasket for stock (80mm) bore.

Awesome, thanks for the information Todd, I will definitely be reaching out to them.

*Side note: Since you mentioned the stock bore size, do you use these guys for an all metal gasket when upgrading to your 820 2v kit?
