Hi,

Does the OEM aluminum fender kits (like this) fit all versions of the V7? Part numbers suggest that they should. Can anybody confirm?

According to that link it fits the following.
MOTOGUZZI V7 CAFE & CLASSIC
MOTOGUZZI V7 II ABS STONE & SPECIAL
MOTOGUZZI V7 III ABS
MOTOGUZZI V7 STONE & SPECIAL & RACE

Yes, according to that link, aluminum fender kits will fit any year of V7.

I'm asking because my V7III has such a fender kit mounted, but I need a new rear fender. I'm not willing to pay what MG want for a complete set.

I have found a place where they sell MAS fenders. They offer front and rear fenders seperately. And at somewhat more palatable prices. BUT, they also state that the rear fender will only fit V7 and V7II, not V7III. Which seems strange as the MG one will fit any year, right? The MAS one even looks completely identical to the OEM MG one.

So what I'm asking is, can anyone confirm that an aluminum rear fender that fits a V7 or V7II will also fit a V7III? If the answer is "yes", I think it's safe to assume that the MAS one will fit a V7III despite what the seller says..?

I just recently installed the MAS brushed aluminum front & rear fenders (MAS part # 2S000152) on my 2017 V7III Stone. They install and fit fine, however, there is no hanger on the aluminum rear fender for the stock tail light assembly. To install the tail light assembly I needed a separate tail light hanger (MAS part # 2S001011).

Thanks for the info. I already have a set of OEM black aluminum fenders on mine, with an aftermarket tail light installed on the fender. I also have the frame hoop (it came as a set with fenders and hoop).

But I want to mount the original tail light and license plate holder. And as the current rear fender is drilled to accommodate the tail light, I need a replacement fender. MG only supplies these fenders as a set with front and rear, and they want a frankly surprising amount of money for it too

I've ordered the MAS item despite the sellers claim that it wont fit a V7III. I'm confident that it will though. Guess I'll find out ;)

I have the hanger if it is like the one on the Stornello's. Let me know if you have interest and we can work that out reasonably.

I've since purchased the MAS front and rear fender, and can confirm that they fit just fine on a V7III
