I recently was on a trip with two days of heavy rain at the beginning. After two weeks of sunny riding I started for home, only to discover that the low beam lights were not working. I flipped on the high beams and rode home. I’ve checked/changed the appropriate fuses but the low beam lights are still not on. Any thoughts? Robert in Maryland

So I'm taking it for granted you've changed the bulbs. Me Stelvio did the same thing in dry weather. It was the bulbs, both at the same time. Changed them out and no problems in the next 20,000klm when I sold the bike. I have no idea why it did it.
At least they're easy to change, not like the 1200 Sport which is a real pain.

First, I am disinclined to respond to folks who can go off on a two-week ride on their Norges. ;)

Seriously, very envious. Where's your trip report with pix?

As for your question, I have had same easy-fix replacement experience as Da Rev, tho mine only went out of service singly and separated by a year or so.

OBTW, where are you in Maryland? Come visit Cross Junction some time.

Bill

Thanks. I’ll order two new bulbs

Retired teacher: so I’d like to find riding partners. Bob

Not so long ago I had two dip beam bulbs go at the same time on an Alfa 147 one dark winter morning when I started it up to go to work!

We shouldn't be surprised though I guess given that they're both on the same amount of time ;)
