I'm been away for a while and now that I'm back my modified fuel pump on my stelvio 1200 doesn't work anymore .that was a modified fuel pump with a fuel return regulator on the inside of the tank. Now I bought a new so called stelvio fuel pump but I can't be sure whether there is a internal return line or I need to make one on my own Can anyone help . The fuel pump is for the 32 litres tank And it looks like this..it doesn't look like it have one though. Probably have to convert a return line on the outside of the pump

For starters don't know what you did to modify your original pump. Also none of the in tank fuel pumps have a return line as pressure is regulated at the pump assembly. Only one fuel line is connected to the pump assembly at the pump on un-modified bikes.

No one knows .?
Only one fuel line is connected to the pump, it pushes into the pump assembly body on the outside, next to where the pump's power plug is. The fuel line splits (T connection) and then goes directly to the injectors. Fuel pressure is regulated by a valve that sits in the pump assembly (you can see the regulator in your second photo as indicated by the red arrow). Now Im aware of the original design of the ntx pump being only one outlet. Mine is actually a old guzzi stelvio and I fitted the 32 litre tank and I modified a scooter (Aprillia scarabo) to fit. That has a return line on the pressure regulator and it works well for 2 years. Recently I wanted to fit in the original ntx fuel Pump and noticed as in the pictures the regulator does not have a return valve and the fuel pump I bought is almost similar but not an ntx pump. There are two fuel lines connectors on the external face. Therefore I'm back to square one with the fuel pump not being original but since I want to use it I guess I got to extend a T joint with a return line on the outside.

.without a return line I'm afraid it might run on high pressure all the time and affect the lifespan of the pump. OK maybe my question is what is the fuel pressure of an original stelvio pump? 3 bars?

With the modifications you have made it is impossible for us to assist. However, the standard fuel pressure of a Guzzi fuel system is in fact 3 bars. Wish you well.
