Anything unique about mounting rear wheel on a balancing machine for new tires?

Not if you have done BMW single sided as well. Are you talking a balance stand or spin balancer?

John, thanks for replying, always appreciate your advice. It's the dealership where I used to go when I had my Ducati's. They sell Ducati, Aprilia, Triumph, KTM, and one Asian brand I forget which. I don't know which sort of balancing they do, however. I wanted to make sure there isn't anything unusual about balancing a Stelvio rear rim that might throw them a curve ball.

From my limited experience changing Guzzi tires (1 front and 1 rear) if you can balance a Triumph SSA wheel or Ducati wheel, a Guzzi wheel is no different.

Sounds good, thanks.

That you on that Panigale 1199 in your avatar? Nice !!

I balance single sided wheels all the time, but I have the adapters and cone sets to do them.

I think it will be a go, their biggest seller is Ducati Multistrada with the single sided swing arm (I bought two from them).

Sent them a photo of driven side of an unmounted Stelvio rear hub and they can do it. I have a choice of local multi brand motorsports shops that move more quads and side by sides and zero turn mowers than they do motorcycles, or a short ride to this motorcycle-only dealer who have a passion for riding, sponsors track days, has a dyno in their service dept, and does race engine builds, restorations, and more. So i wanted to make sure they can balance the Stelvio's wheels, trust them way before the local outfits. Wish they'd pickup MG as a brand... they picked up Aprilia in 2016 ... Commonwealth Motorcycles, Louisville KY.
