Hi all, New member here, what a great forum. I have just collected a 2009 Griso (20500 miles) and rode it up from London to my home in Norwich (140 miles). I had a great ride up and love the bike. However after it had sat for 90 minutes I started it with a view to putting it in the garage and found that it started but was very lumpy and would not tick over. After a short 30 seconds or so running it would conk out. I tried it again this morning and found that it ticked over for a couple of minutes and then it started to falter and eventually cut out again. Sorry for making my first post a " I am having a problem/question post" rather than a thank you for allowing me to join the forum one. I am waiting on the dealer getting back to me with any suggestions or setting up a pick up of the bike so the problem can be sorted.
I have checked the paperwork and see that the previous owner had made the same complaint at some time and it seems to have been fixed during a service (warranty job I think as there was no cost allocated to it). I have looked through the forum and can see that it is full of really good knowledgeable members who have already left pointers as to what it could be on previous posts, thank you all for that. I will wait and see what the dealer has to say before I start to tinker myself.

Welcome & no apologies needed solving problems is one of the reasons we are all here.
A month or so ago my 2013 Griso did something very similar & it turned out to be a 1/4 tank of water, fuel cap was allowing rain in.

Please post with your fix.

Greetings, at that mileage you may want to have the dealer check for tappet wear unless it has had the roller tappet update done. Also, may want to toggle the LH switchgear to look at errors in the menu.

Thanks for the help guys. I have decided to take the bike back to the dealer as I was not getting anywhere with it. My Griso dreams are gone. The good thing is I left the dealer having bought a nice new V9 Bobber. Thanks again.

Hi all
I am also a new member to the forum. I bought a 2016 Griso SE in London and drove it back to Ireland last week. I had a Mk 1 LeMans when I was a kid and this bike reminds me so much of it. Where can I buy a service manual, front & rear mudflaps, heated grips etc for this bike. It only had 2100 mls on it when I bought it (now 6000 Kms) and I want to look after it
Thankyou
