I’m a night rider. I’m a night parker. I’m also hard to see.

I’ve been hunting for something discreet during the day and blindingly reflective at night. I’ve seen it used on emergency vehicles and running shoes.

Who makes clear or matte black vinyl that would make this bohunk bare its fangs at direct head, ights? I keep looking, but other owners must have their personal recommendations.

Lay ‘em on me.

Lots of options out there.

Depends, among other things, where and how you want to mount the stuff. Tape, dots, sheets, and more.

I cut black reflective sheets -- similar to this: https://motoreflective.com/products/rk-99b-do-it-yourself-reflective-sheet-kit -- on the back ends of my Norge's panniers.

Sadly, we all know that you have your girlfriend sit on it stark nekkid []with flood lights making it bright as day and some drunken fool, texting dimwit, or just an average cretin would still not see the bike (or girlfriend!) :banghead:

So, while I am a bit of a conspicuity nerd and of the glass-half-full sort, I also make sure my insurance coverage is adequate and paid up. ;)

best,

Bill

when I go riding at night but I don't do often due to my eye sight sucks at night, I wear a reflective backpack...

Currently rocking this one, Icon Squad 3 Backpack in Hi-viz yellow

It stands out so much, I was "chased" by a friend of my just happened to ride near me on a totally unplanned meet.

Also I don't think it is that intrusive to the whole "night rider" theme...but that is me :)

Beside that, I was thinking adding some LED strips possibly tying into my turn signal...for a bit more visibility to other around me.
