Tank Bag

Tell me if I'm wrong. .. you chose the BMW GS bag because of the similarity to the Stelvio tank shape. Any model bag will fit on the standard flange. A honda bag may not fit our tank well but will mount on that standard flange. Sound right?

Guys, guys...! B)
The "GS" bag is not a BMW tank bag! It's a Bags Connection "GS" tank bag. "GS" is the name of the tank bag modell. I'm sure it's perfect fit on a Bimmer GS - as it is on a Stelvio :D But then again; it's not a tank bag made for BMW GS alone.

Bags Connection "Tour" would've been a better name, probably, to avoid the misunderstanding that this is a bag for BMW only... Which it's definitely not!
I've used it on my Triumph Tiger 1050, and now the Stelvio and I'm convinced that this bag also would have been a perfect match on my Yamaha TDM 900, the bike I owned for 4 years and 60K km before the Tiger.

Duhh... well that's a horse of a different color... dat splains it!!! ;)
As our old heads get mushy we need a little time to catch on...
Guzz .. its all good. Now I can order a tank bag and a mount. And we thought the GS bag was a GS bag which it's not but might fit a GS which we don't have but will fit a Stelvio although it's not a GS! I think that statement sums it up.

Vivo

If I read this right the GS is their own designation for their tank bag and does not refer to GS as in BMWGS

It states in their blurb the GS bag fits bikes with sloping tanks..stelvio has a sloping tank therefore the GS bag is the one to go for if it's the size you are looking for. There is a smaller day bag as well.

Well, I just ordered this... and ummmm.. no aluminum ring... from twisted throttle... any ideas on where to get the right parts?

I put the Mosko Nomad on mine....SUPER pleased on how it organizes(me) instead of the hopper as in other bags the Nomad is really well laid out. Will post photos.....after the HIGH Humidity we are having here in Van, BC

We make a CNC Givi Tanklock bag ring shown/click pic below or click HERE - and we also sell Givi TL bags on our online Store (tab above).

Purchased this for both my Griso & Stelvio. Works great & makes for an easy time fueling the bike. Also can unfortunately attest that the bag will stay put even when the bike goes down.
