V9 final drive (bevel gear) oil specs

Manual requires Eni Rotra/Agip gear MG 85W-140 gl4/5 for final drive (bevel gear) of mine V9.
But there is no availiable Eni/Agip oil of that spec for sale anywhere.

What should I put into my final drive? Please share your experience.
 
Any 85W140 of GL 4 or 5 will be fine. The bike doesn't care what brand you use. Guzzi calls for ENI/AGip to keep other Italians employed.
 
My 2017 Moto Guzzi V7 III owner's manual called for "Castrol" branded lubricants.

My Triumph Speedmaster wanted "Mobil 1" branded lubricants.

Harley wants you to use Genuine Harley branded lubricants.

Any good quality gear oil of the correct specification and viscosity will be satisfactory.
 
I used Valvoline and all is good. Just use high quality 100 % synthetic. Like John said it's an Italian thing.
For example I use Motul for my engine.
