I have had an issue with the tach for some time. I looked around for a replacement, new is stupid money and used is stupid money. Next move, I dismantled it to diagnose the issue and found the stepper motor was the issue with the gauge not functioning correctly. I then looked everywhere for a replacement stepper motor with the same specs surprisingly I found some not through the OEM manufacturer who only deals with manufacturing no retail. but anyway I located some stepper motors and replaced the tach, s motor and shes working as new. I would advise only those who are equipped for de-soldering boards to attempt this repair.

I believe this board and stepper motor is used in a wide variety of small block bikes I know this one is in Breva 750 03 thru 09

Thanks for the post, but this has been well covered before in great detail.
I wasn't aware of that. I was looking for info on it just before I went into my gauges. do you have a link perhaps I can read what was posted. Thanks.

This one covers venting for water to get out. https://www.guzzitech.com/forums/threads/bns12-dash-repair.15418/

And this one on the steppers https://www.guzzitech.com/forums/threads/oddball-norge-speedometer-behavior.15445/#post-111703 and this one. https://www.guzzitech.com/forums/threads/dashboard-interference.12501/page-4#post-100333

I had to search a couple different ways. One search term may not get what you are looking for.
Hi John, That post has nothing in common with the Breva 750 gauge which dismantles differently and has much different stepper motors.
