Had the plastic ball joint end on my right throttle body linkage fall off the ball on the way back home from a long ride today. Was able to use a rubber band to hold it back on for the ride home. Ive looked online and can't seem to find a replacement. Any ideas where I can get one? Ive looked at AFI and they only show the throttle bodys themselves not the linkage.

If you have a good old school Euro auto parts store or friendly older Mercedes dealer, you can take the rod to them and match them up, or if you aren’t in a rush, McMaster Carr online sells really nice sealed stainless ones but without the pop-off ball & socket (shown below), in both right and left hand threads.
With a micrometer, make sure to measure the distance between and end to center of the head of the stud to duplicate them. You’ll also need software to check the degrees and carb sync balance (tool) when done.

OK thanks again, I"ll check with dealer on Tuesday and report back here with results. I can't be the only one who's had this plastic part wear out.

Going in circles here. This subject is well covered... Spend a few minutes with the Search function.
