Hey all,
So I just yesterday installed some new levers and was going to go on a shakedown with my bike to further adjust the clutch cable. When I went to turn the adjustment dial, it broke at the threads. What should I do from here? Can you replace just the dial?

Yes, you can. The threads are part of the adjuster knob. So you should be able to replace it easily by just replacing that one small piece.

Thanks for the responses. I already purchased a new dial and installed it, however, am noticing that the adjustment is pretty tight. I have most of the threads backed out and the clutch seems to barely engage at almost full extension. I have tried adjusting the dial both in and out and am not sure where to go from here.

Yep, loosen it up and run threads all the way in, THEN adjust it properly on the lever on back of trans. Now you have enough adjustment for life of the cable.
I had to do this on every smallblock sold at the dealer, otherwise you are always buying cables cause of no adjustment. When new that adjuster is always loose from factory on them back into the 90's. Somethings NEVER change.
