Hey everyone. I have a 2017 racer with 4500kms on it. I had the oil changed at 1500 but didn't have the valves adjusted as I was advised it was a bit early for that. At about 3200 my engine light came on. Took it to the dealer and they said it was just a light that reminds you of first servicing. They cleared the light and she ran good as new. This morning I started her up and after a few minutes the light came back on. Could this happen if I didn't let her warm up? I drove off quickly as I didn't want to wake up my daughter. Is there any way to clear the light without taking it in and paying the shop to do it? Thanks for reading and any response would be great.

For a 2017 V7II Stornello engine light is not the service indicator. That manifests itself through the letters "MAInt" in the display (when exceeding 1000 km, 10000 km etc).

The MAInt-indication can be turned off via the buttons in some sequence stated in the service station manual (the shop is supposed to do that), but that does not help you now : /
