I'm putting new tires on my Cali 1400 and unable to find the torque specs for the front brake calipers to the fork and the fork pinch bolt for the axle. I went thru the manual three times and only located the axle torque.
Thanks in advance.

I looked for those a while back when replacing front tire, couldn't find them in any Guzzi manual. They are pretty big bolts, so you'd have to be quite clumsy to strip the threads on them. I followed the rule of thumb of putting a socket (no wrench) on the end and do them up as tight as I can by hand and then rotate them no more than 45 degrees with a wrench. You can feel them tighten significantly during that twist. Don't use any anti seize as this will affect the torque and make it easier to strip the thread

Thank you for the replies. I used a guide I found on the internet. I thought that maybe I skipped a few pages when I downloaded and printed the manual.

Fall back rules for torque specs, simply google up torque specs for bolts by size and material. Charts available for all size bolts and nuts right there. Old school shops had these charts on the wall.

I used my Ducati specs. Both have Brembo calipers...7 ft/lbs, pinch bolts...37ft/lbs, caliper bolts.
