Hi all, i have recently become the owner of a V7Racer. There is no center stand with this model and I was wondering if anyone has retro fitted bobbins to the rear end to facilitate the use of a paddock stand ?

There is a center stand for the V7 Racer, but you need to install the European center stand with it.

Center stand part number: 895509
European side stand part number: B063086

I think Todd has them in his store, either it's the factory center stand or the Hepco and Becker one, can't remember.

And you have this:

I have the Pit bull stand, it does the job. I rarely use it though. Just a nice to have thing.

Fitting bobbins to the swing arm is not recommended, and it would be difficult anyway due to the asymmetrical design of the swingers, and the fact that one side of it is also an alloy driveshaft housing.

As above, you can add a Hepco-Becker stand, get the european delivery center stand, or use the Pit Bull stand*.

Another very good stand that works well is the Abba Superbike stand:

* The Pit Bull stand works fine even on the V7III model, even though it's not listed as compatible. The reason it's not listed as compatible is that the V7III EVAP canister is in the way. The EVAP can should be ditched and the vacuum tap off the intake manifold plugged at the first opportunity anyway... :D
