Sidestand alternatives (really just an issue with the little lever)

So my side-stand lever keeps coming loose. I even tried degreasing the thread and using red locktite on it but it came loose again. On the road side attempting to tighten caused one of the threads to strip out.

Im tempted to just drill all of the way through and, if there is clearance, put in some locking nuts or something, im so over this.

But before I go to modifying hardware has anyone seen an alternative option that may be superior to begin with?

EDIT: So I removed the lever on the side of the road and just fiddled with my foot to get a hold of the kickstand foot to get it loose. So Im a long legged guy and dont really have an issue pulling it back, its just finding it under the exhaust. Is there a foot extension on the market that would fit my kickstand? That would also probably get me to a workable solution.

Sorry yes Griso. I tried replacing all of the hardware, including the rubber part that eventually falls apart. Torqued, red lock tite, etc. It just always eventually comes loose. Now one of them is stripped from being messed with so much. So now its looking like I have to replace the stand itself, Id rather not spend money on something that is just going to do it again.

My Griso, which looks just like yours had the same problem. I think the bolts were too long, and would bottom out, with the lever still being loose. Then when you try to tighten it, it strips.
Since you have stripped it, how about an M6x1 stud put in with JB weld and a lock nut on top. Or: M6X1 is probably the most common bolt on all Jap and Italian bikes. I bought a HeliCoil set in this size many years ago. It wasn't expensive, and has made my day a couple of times over the years.
Or drill deeper, re-tap and a longer bolt. That side stand is pretty beefy....
