2013 Griso wheel hub seal

Update!!!
Seal came and today I installed it! Attached are the pictures before and after.
I drove like 30 miles with various speeds - 50-70mph
stopped and checked - few small drops on the rim - I thought I didn't wipe all the fluid
drove another 30 miles and still leaaaaaaaaaksssssssss! I am going crazy here! what could be - this bike is 2000 miles old and looks like they did already a CARC service before I bought it!

See pictures - any other ideas?

Are you sure its oil from the CARC, only all your pictures look really clean, there is a breather on top of the CARC to stop pressure build up forcing oil out of the seal. I replaced my seal at 70,000Kms

Yes, its basically brand new!
I took it off and blew through it, its working 100%.
The rim is looking like sprayed oil drops, it leaks from the seal, go all the way the way down to the drain bolt, and it drips on the rim while in motion

Did you carefully inspect the area where the seal rides? Any roughness or imperfections will take out a seal in short order. Also check where the CARC is bolted to the swing arm. Look carefully where the clips are on the bottom. If the rubber dam at the CARC is leaking you will get oil there which will drip onto the wheel. I've had to re-seal a few of those rubber dams.

I had a leak at the seal 32000 miles but it looked alot different than that. It was slung by centrifical forces. Was not drops of oil like that. I agree with John check the damn and or the next joint of swingarm by tranny bell.

when I took the old one, I inspected for rough spots - it was smooth, brand new!
I will inspect again the swing arm boot tomorrow, I haven't thought about that!

Thanks for the advise! will post with update!

Good luck on finding leak. Also, make sure that the wheel plate that goes between wheel and carc has the edge facing carc for added protection from debree getting at the seal. I now always remove wheel myself for tire changes. First and last time I had bike at a shop it was replaced facing wheel.

Last update for this year :)
I took the bike for a ride again - 50 miles nonstop through secondary roads - avg speed 50mph, this time was OK - I couldn't see any leaks - some tiny drops barely visible - and they could be old, but nothing like before!
then again I came back 50 miles and same thing! so I think I am OK now!
unfortunately I am ending my riding season so I will see how it will be next year - and I will do longer trips when the weather is good!

I want to thank everybody for the help and advises!
