2020 V7 III New Model Announcement

I think the 2020 LE is the current 'sweet spot' of features. The Ohlins suspension and the red/white livery being the biggest selling points for me.

What confuses me about the V7 range right now is the lack of an ability to customize a build (easily) from the factory or from other bikes in the catalog.

  • LEDs? Go dig up the part numbers from the Night Pack and make sure to get the right connections.
  • Bar ends? Dig deep for the OEM ones that arn't quite as good as the aftermarkets.
  • Seat options from another model? Have a BAAK-up plan.
  • Tach and speedo? Pick your model carefully.
  • Uprated suspension? You have one option from the factory.
Frankly, it makes me grateful for this site, the store, and Todd's continued support!

Oh, could we add an option to the poll akin to 'I might end up with a second v7'?

I ask because the Trofeo does look tempting!

Well, they kind of do offer such an option, but at absurd prices. ~$5-7k
They've complicated things with the Night pack. I can offer custom seats, made here in SoCal USA. Not many have taken me up on the offer, rather spend $ overseas. Tach can be added per separate post here, but not cheap or easy. Suspension is my specialty... so thanks on all.

Well I certainly like the thin shorter rear mud guard (fender) on the 10th anniversary V7III Racer.. I don't wish to entirely eliminate my fender, just make it a little less obvious. Wonder if it would fit on my V7II 2016 Racer? Any ideas ???
