I love my moto but I noticed it has a hesitation coming off of a low throttle and it pings and backfires a bit. My moto is all stock and I will probably keep it that way as far as the exhaust system goes. I am in California and the Law is strick about modifying the exhaust system and noise levels now. I do not want to deal with a cop pulling me over for a modified muffler..... GRRRRRR......

I noticed many threads about an ECU reflashing and gadgets to add but the one recommended is over a grand! I do not want to spend that much if I can help it. what about getting my stock ECU reflashed? will this help with the throttle response and pinging? What do the experts recommend? I am not looking to race or anything crazy I just want my moto to run happy and cool..

Reading the threads here is confusing and I just want a simple "get this thing" answer.

Thank you for the response! I was looking at that service just a bit ago and contacted them about it. You are happy then that is good and the review they have posted ate good too?
 
I worked at a Guzzi dealer installing equipment for customers, the most I had to do was trim the idle mixture. With the O2 sensors turned off you need software to do this. I work on them so I have software. Todd also has good customer service.
I'll bet it's a nice ride to Malibu from your place now with no traffic.
 
Can you point me to the specific directions on how to install and set this device up on my Stelvio? I found a PDF file but it only covers setting up the device on a Pc and hooking the device to the PC but how do you install it on the moto. The discussions that cover this are all deal error 404 leads....
Where can I get a good video to see exactly how to install it on the moto?
