I have a 2013 NTX with the power outlet on the dash. Is this a Moto Guzzi thing? all of the standard power plugs I use on my automobile fit really loose in the Guzzi power outlet. what is the deal here? When I am riding the wind and vibration keeps making my standard plug outlets shake loose and stop working I have to keep pushing it back into the socket, frustrating.

Apart from that, I love this bike....

Actually 2 outlets; one on the dash and one under the passenger seat. For me fits a standard automotive cigarette adaptor fine. Maybe a small difference between US and European adaptors? Not sure

They come in 2 sizes & yes the Guzzi one is based off older design/size. They used to make sleeves that you could slide in, but I can't find them anymore. So, you can cut a plastic milk jug for instance & make one for yourself. Just takes a few minutes to do.

I thought so! I picked up another type thinking it would work better but it moves out too.... I am a machinist I will make an adaptor as soon as I can go back to work. This virus thing has me stuck at home working from home...

So the picky machinist I am, It bothered me so much I had to fix the sloppy plug.... Made a sleeve out of black delrin, it is a .020 wall. Now the plug fits perfect! I can now sleep tonight...
Excellent. They used to sell these over the counter all over the net. Seems to have dried up. Maybe time to make some to sell here(?).

Impressive. Yeah, I haven't seen any for sale in years, and they sure do come in handy.

I would make some more but, the problem is, the socket diameter varies so much it is almost a custom fit for each one you make. That is probably why whoever was making them quit.
