Does anyone have any experience with alternative foot pegs for the V7iii? I would like a little more leg room and wouldn't mind if they were back a bit but don't want to go to a lowered peg like the Knight. Somewhere I saw where someone had used an older Goldwing peg with just a slight modification for the spring that resulted in a lower rubber foot peg. Any ideas?

Simpler yes, but I am a special needs cat and a higher seat would just cause other problems. Those fat pegs seem like low hanging fruit in the legroom department.

Not finding a better alternative, I ordered a set of repo Goldwing pegs on eBay. The only modifications were that in order to use the stock Guzzi spring I had to fit a spacer in the back of the “notch” to give the spring something to work against and shorten the tip a bit to fit in the other notch better. I also drilled and retapped the stock mount so I could fit the Guzzi curb feeler. This setup is a full inch lower than stock, nice and comfy. 47CF4D2A 0961 4F20 81D4 36874FAAD89F
