In the morning when the bike is just running for five minutes or so, some times it will stall out when I come to a stop at a light? Is this a quirk of this motor and the fuel maps? Otherwise, it runs perfect!
Also some times I smell a slight smell of burning rubber coming from the front of the engine, this is where the alternator belt is. Could this be a sign of a loose belt that is slipping when under load? When I purchased the moto in March, I rode it around 1000 miles and the battery completely died on me. The battery was the original and this is a 2013 model year so yes it died. When it died I smelled more burning rubber when it stalled out. I figured the alternator was working super hard to keep the bike running and all of the lights and accessories going too. Have any of you experienced this before?
