Looks great. I am still cleaning the muddy rain water off of mine from the last ride in November 2019. Since then it has been too cold and slippery to ride and too cold in the unheated garage to clean. Now that spring is arriving in Wyoming I am having to split my time between house, yard , and autos to get ready for the season. The bike is usually an afterthought. All the paintwork is cleaned and waxed so now it's on to the shiney bits and mechanical maintenance. The looks of yours is inspiring me to get on my near twin. Yours looks great.

Raven, these blocks don't need sand they are designed to move slightly but still remain 'locked in place' (at least that's what the builder said).
Garwood, I don't do cold and wet, if I'm out and get caught in it fair enough but I try and avoid the wet stuff whenever possible and as for cold and icy forget it
. I'll stick to warm sunny days thanks. Roll on next Sept for MG 100th. Fingers crossed the current situation will be behind us then.

A couple of additions, managed to get them at a clearout price or wouldn't have bothered.
Looks good, and I see you have crash-bars on already, good. Anyone relying solely on these for protection is pissing into the proverbial headwind.

Mind me asking what they cost? These are the things we can do in small batch runs for likely half the cost of DPM/MG.
Hi Todd, I have seen these on the AFi racing website at about $500 or £350 fro UK dealers. I paid a helluva lot less than that(less than half actually) or wouldn't have bothered. The originals as you probably know are just pressed metal and razor sharp round the edges. I'm sure anything you can produce will be better than the originals. Good thing is the sliders under the boards are replaceable so if you happen to deck them out you can easily replace. To replace the passenger pegs with similar floorboards is almost a $1000.
Reference passenger floorboards I personally think the DPM/MG ones are too big, something shorter with the ability to adjust forwards and backwards would look better in my opinion. Recollect Reading a previous post about these with pictures.

We have lots of curves here in South Australia as well
