Spain on Lockdown.

Is there a # to call when you go for a ride to get authorization?
Go for a ride!! I wish, the Stazi are everywhere, I got a bollocking and asked for my I.d. for standing on my doorstep talking to a neighbour three car lengths away, when the Guardia did a drive by.

Wow, I just went for a ride the other day to get the edge off a bit. Was only 30mi but still nice to get out. When I go to grocery I take an extended ride to country, plenty of hills & twisties here. Hopefully it'll be gone soon and back to normal.

Since our escape back to Menorca seven weeks ago, at the start of the Spanish “state of alarm” the old girl has been languishing in the garage.
As of today Spain is now entering phased release from lockdown and while the restrictions have been hard, hopefully many lives have been saved.
Although I cannot yet ride the bike, took her into the sunlight to blow off the cobwebs in preparation for when we can again burn some rubber around this beautiful island and beyond.

A link to a small video, be gentle, it was my first attempt.

Please, please look at the Sky news report on Covid 19 Italy.
They have suffered more than anyone to date, and it may be a wake up call for those that demonstrate against lockdown.

Yes, even if noone liked it, I think that lockdown in Italy spared us more suffering and death.
BTW "Sky News" is famous in Italy for being a not-news service with a political agenda totally manipulated by its owners that thrives on fear and scaremongering... surprising, in this case they were restrained and more rational than the usual...

A little more freedom as restrictions are being relaxed, first ride permitted since 15th March but as yet, not allowed to go out as a group. I’ll take what I can get.
Prior to our Mallorca visit I had flashed the ECU to the stock file as the intention was to visit the dealers, this morning prior to our ride out I reinstalled the performance file. Cart horse to race horse.

Cafes, bars and restaurants gradually opening although with restrictions and face masks obligatory in public spaces. As yet no tourists allowed which means the roads are virtually free of traffic, great.
A very pleasant 25 degs C which called for a 180km ride out and the first coffee from a cafe for over two months.
