The dates have been confirmed* today for the Moto Guzzi 99th Anniversary/Open House event: 11th to 13th September 2020.

* in an email from the Comitato Motoraduno Mandello del Lario.

Sad, but understandable news from the Comitato Motoraduno Mandello del Lario.

Dear Guzzisti,
We waited until the last moment before making the final decision on the Moto Guzzi 2020 International Motorcycle Meeting, hoping that the evolution of the situation generated by the Covid-19 pandemic would allow attendance to the event in complete tranquillity and safety. Unfortunately, as of today it is not possible to guarantee these two essential ingredients. It is therefore with great regret that we are forced to postpone the yearly celebration of all Moto Guzzi fans to the next year, which will coincide with the 100th birthday of our beloved Moto Guzzi and which will therefore be an opportunity to experience something unique and special towards which we will concentrate all our efforts, in collaboration with Moto Guzzi, with perhaps a preview by the end of the year.
This year everyone's safety comes first: the party is only postponed: we will all meet again next year, in Mandello del Lario, and it will always be an explosion of infinite passion.

Sad news indeed but I'm still booked for the TLM 100th Anniversary trip for next year.
Will definately be retired by then so maybe a couple of days touring through Holland before the trip and possibly a wee jaunt round Europe after if all goes well.

We're also booked on the TLM 100th Anniversary trip.

We have a European tour all organised for this September which includes 2 nights in Mandello for what would have been the 99th Anniversary. At the moment it looks as though we'll still be able to go. Although there'll be no 'official' celebrations in and around the factory, I expect there'll still be a few Guzzi enthusiasts in Mandello over the weekend of 11th to 13th September.

Disappointing but understandable. Hopefully this is long gone and over by the end of this year. I am also planning on attending the GMG 2021. We can start a new thread on discussing who is going, and perhaps a meeting place and time.

I would love to meet up in Mandello next year. As it stands, we are going to ship over the Stelvio to the UK with Air Canada and ride through Spain and the Cote D'Azur to Lake Como and then of course ride the Stelvio pass on the appropriate bike.
