Oil cooler cover

Hi everyone. I just bought a stainless oil cooler cover from Agostini. Figured it was a stupidly easy fit but looks like I have to take the oil lines off the oil cooler because you have to lift the cooler off its lower locating pegs and when you go to raise it, the fan hits the frame. So I’m thinking if I remove both hoses from the top of the cooler, I could tip it forward and then upwards.

I guess what I’m asking is, has anyone else fitted one of these and is this how you do it?

Probably, but (a) it didn't come with instructions, and (b) their English seems to be poor, though way better than my Italian. The fitting is obvious but requires the oil cooler to be lifted off its lower pegs, my question was more about whether there are any gotchas about removing the oil cooler hoses, like I would need new seals. It's OK.. I'll just do what I first thought of.

I’ve got one. Don’t need to take the lines off. You just need to lift it out and the cover uses the same mounting points. And no I don't clean the bike often.

Thanks for that. Sorry for the delayed gratitude, time difference to blame ... Lifting the cooler vertically doesn't work as fan hits frame so I'll try tilting it forward at the top more forcefully than I have. It only needs to come up about 1cm to free from the pegs and allow the cover to locate. You have shown it's possible, which is what I needed for motivation. Thank you.
