Just got it firing!
Bike: 2018 V7 III, DOP 6.16.2020
So last week Wednesday July 22, I had my first service done at my dealership. They said the valve clearances were tight and they put them to spec. Everything sounds fine on the ride home from dealership (about 20 miles). I take a long ride on Friday, maybe 150 miles, and near the end of the ride I notice that the valve tappet sound on the R/H cylinder seemed I bit louder than the L/H side.
Putting my ear to the top of the R/H cylinder head, I sounds like its in the intake side is the culprit.
I know over time valve clearances change but this seems rather quick. Maybe the locking nut is coming loose?
I don't think it would be wise to wait another 5k miles till my next service to have it taken care of. Right?
Any thoughts?
How should I approach the dealership with this concern? Email, call, show up in person..
