At the scrap metal yard last week a fellow pulled in with an old Moto Guzzi that he was intending to just scrap. I snapped it up for pizza money and even got a title.

No wheels, seat, tank and probably plenty more but the engine is free as are the what appear to be the original Dellorto PHF 30 DD carburetors. I've looked at VIN numbers and simply can't decipher what model this is. My best guess is an 850 T, a police model or a California model .. Pictures below .. what did I score. Picture of the gearbox if needed for ID.

Thanks, .. Frank

Vinyear Vinno 1 Cluster 2 3

It started life as a T-3. However the carburetors and intake manifolds were changed. Also a few other bits such as the alternator cover. You either have the start of a restoration, or a bunch of spare parts to sell.

nice sohc back there. I have 3, a '71 now stripped to the frame for restoration.
They sound knarley with a cam in them.

Look at letters in front of engine #, will tell you what it started life. In 76 there were a bunch of Converts w/floorboards, parts were here 2yrs before T3FB in 78. At least in IL.
