Breva 1100, 99,000 miles and counting.....

My 2005 Breva 1100 :inlove: clocked up 99,000 miles today, only 916 to go....
Congrats Chris! I was fortunate to hit 100k miles within ~3 years on my '00 Jackal, which I bought brand new - within the first 100k, the clutch failed @67k miles, the transmission/gearbox had a minor hiccup @76k, and I broke a clutch cable. From there, it soldiered on through 264k miles (until I GTM'ed it by choice), with shockingly minimal drama. Cheers to another 100k!

That's fantastic, Chris! I'm hitting 99,000 too! I loved it and changed the ergonomics to feel like a 1960s roadster using the CalVin handlebar. It so comfy now and has alleviated my elbow tendonitis.

But now, I'm in a love-hate relationship w the Breva. Been having the ⚠️SERVICE for the last 2 years due to a P0105 error (air pressure sensor fault). Maybe due to ECM? I don't know. I've tried the smaller errors just in case: changed all the air temp sensor (supposedly emulates the air pressure sensor), piezometer, engine temp sensor... no change.

So, will the Breva 11 make it to 100,000km? I don't know. I might just retire it and sell the parts worth selling. Still thinking....

Thankfully, touch wood, I've not had any problems with the electrics/electronics. I feel your pain, it appears to be a difficult problem to cure.

Todd, that's a fantastic mileage on the Jackal.
