Hi guys,'
I'm new here, and new to this bike. I've had several European bikes, and still have a big BMW and my old Ducati SuperSport. So I'm familiar and comfortable with them. Let me start by saying, I've totally fallen in love with this wonderful motorcycle, a 2016 V7II Special in Blue, has 2500 miles, I'm in Las Vegas. What a joy. She has brought back all the joy and romance that brought us to motorcycle riding to begin with. So, here are a couple questions. I'h having trouble getting comfortable with the clutch lever. The action is fine, but I cannot get the lever in a comfortable position. I'm considering changing it to a short, aftermarket lever. Does anyone have a good recommendation for a lever? I'd consider changing both. Next question....it feels like it has the lean/surge situation as well. Is that a common thing? Is there anything that can be done? My Duc had that, I did the cans and had the ECU flashed, and it's flawless now, so I am wondering if this might be similar. Am I off base on this? Is this just a matter of getting used to it? It runs great, especially when warm, but at lower speeds, part throttle, it has the classic lean buck. Should I consider doing a flash or some kind of tuner? I'm not looking for any performance increases, simply drive ability. Thanks in advance!

Hi Al, congrats and welcome to the GT Forum & Guzzi Famiglia. Hope you'll add your info to the Registry here; https://www.guzzitech.com/forums/threads/v7-registry-picture-thread-add-your-bike.9108/
Per the paragraph in red above, please skim/read this section, and/or try a few searches. All of your questions have been extremely well covered here. Also click on the STORE tab above for our 600+ products. For the ECU flash, yes, see; https://gtmotocycles.com/collections/fueling/products/gt-motocycles-v7-v9-ecu-re-flash-tool - check the reviews there.

Hope to see you posting often, and you aren't all that far from my shop in Orange, CA. Plenty of Guzzisti make the trek down from Vegas for the best in Guzzi Service most anywhere in the Southwest US. Enjoy.

The Pazzo levers are fantastic, great free and workmanship and adjustable for the right setup.

Do the ECU flash, makes it a whole new bike. I did it for my V7 III and it transformed it.

Research these forums and take your time, then post if you need more help. This is a great group and Todd is a great guy.

Welcome to the family.

Sorry about that....I'm apparently not good at the searching......I'll be better in the future. I'll see about getting a descent pic of her to add to the registry as well. Thanks for your help patience!
