I need help.

I own a 2003 V11 Le Mans and it is a BEAUTIFUL machine. I love most things about it.

However, I am selling it. The forward, racing position is great for riding fast, but at 63 years, I'm done with that. So if anyone wants to buy, let me know.

However, my main question is about the 1100 cc Breva. What you guys tell me about the riding position? The handling? It looks to me like my Le Mans bike but with a more upright riding position. Am I correct?

I notice that were a couple for sale in the US

I have had my Breva 11 since 2007. I have a sore back at times due to age related degeneration of the discs. I find the upright position very comfortable. Some shorter people have problems with seat height. I just manage with 29in inside leg.

riding position is lovely and very comfortable for touring. not ideal for faster riding/cornering, and the suspension doesn't like that either.

I have a 2007 Breva from new and i do like the upright position. However I purchased a set of Helibars which raise it by 30mm, bring it in 30mm each side and bring it back 30mm towards the rider. Suits my height and arm stretch, I really like them. I had to extend the brake hose, the clutch is ok.

Night and day difference, gear box being the main one, I find the breva very comfortable, more than enough power, engine run for ever. Just make sure if you buy one it has both keys with it as they are coded in to the bike also make sure the previous owner has not put a personal code in to the clocks if they have you will need to know what it is. The code can be changed but that is one reason why you will need both keys.
