Hello Gents,
I'm not trying to make the Edlo a sport bike, but would rather not get surprised by the center stand making contact abruptly. What, if anything, have any of you tried in the way of cornering clearance solutions?
Removing the center stand?
Longer Rear shocks?
Curb feelers?
Any ideas, or solutions of experience would be greatly appreciated.

In the last 23 years/nearly 100k miles of riding "Loopframe" Guzzis, I've only rarely touched anything down. Even then it was the (civilian) sidestand that made contact on the left, never anything on the right. If you're riding that aggressively, then perhaps a Tonti Guzzi would be more suitable.

Stock shocks are 12.75" long, slightly longer would help. 120/90 rear tire will give a bit more ground clearance as well.

Hmmm, i scrape occasionally also, both sides but predominantly left turns. I wonder if i need new shocks on my 1974 Eldo?
