Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all first and let's hope 2021 will be better.
Does anyone have this particular front fairing installed and if so I'd appreciate a tip of how to do it. I'm more concerned regarding the right hand side where the brake and throttle cables are in the way. It comes without an installation kit and it has 2 holes under the headlight opening that can be used in the installation process. I can fabricate some sort of a bracket but my main concern are the cables on the right. I have a V7 Stone btw. Thanks

It looks similar to the BMW R bike S fairing. You will need mounts at the top and bottom so upper mounts will need to be fabricated. As for cable clearance, you may need to notch the fairing to get the clearance you need. Once mounted it will move with the handlebars so once clearance is established you should be good.

This is a generic/universal fairing. I've read a review someplace where it was said that he rerouted the cables (brake+throttle) maybe he did that by "notching" the fairing? I arrived at the same conclusion although it will affect the aesthetics a bit.
As far as a mounting bracket I can fabricate one using a flat aluminium bar that will attach to the 2 holes at the bottom and on top to the plates that are securing at the moment the existing Puig windscreen.
Just checked Air Tech's site and they sell a similar product made in Italy (twice the price) without mounting hardware.

I ordered a similar fairing on ebay iirc, said it was for a V7 and would fit the Stone and Racer, I have a Stone with the Racer clip-ons and there was no way it'd fit without getting a Dremel out, seller was a pain to deal with, but I got a refund and sent it back.

Yup it looks like a Dremel is necessary. I'm willing to give it a try though. If it looks halfway decent I'll keep it on, if not...away it goes. I got it on eBay also probably from the same seller.

Hey Don
Did you ever finish this project and how did it turn out? I'm looking at the same fairing for my V7 also and pondering the installation 😊
