driveshaft coupler orientation

Hey everyone, I decided to remove my final drive to grease the splines and realized that I did not pay attention to the coupler that joins the Final drive to the drive shaft?
I happened to have removed the spacer that is inside which holds the spring in place
Anybody know if it matters which side goes on which.
Both sides seem to be of equal length.
Any input would be much appreciated
 
I’m looking to grease the splines on my 2017 Stone and need some advice. Once swingarm is removed from frame does driveshaft/u-joint just pull out? Do I have to worry about parts falling out when I do so or is everything held in place till reardrive is removed? Manual and parts diagram aren’t very clear. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

If you're removing the whole swingarm as one piece it will come off without anything falling off. That method is very clumsy though. I'd recommend removing the rear drive first before anything. it makes life a lot easier.
After removing it from the swingarm, keep the drive facing up with the fill plug down
