Two up is no problem... I have to be careful as with a ‘normal’ suspension setup (vs the old beemers) it is softer and dives a bit more. That aside I specked a Givi top box, part alu, with back rest and that serves a treat. Happy wife!

Thanks!

I have a Beemer...and two Guzzis. Objectively, the Beemer is really competent; a great tourer with myriad comfort, safety, and performance features. I love mine. However, those old Tonti Big Blocks are special and I am reminded every time I so much as look at them. I guess that perfection comes in both objective and subjective flavors...

Aye... to be sure it does... totally nothing wrong with the Beemers... the K1300R was my favourite by a mile... the ‘odd’ front suspension to be was no issue at all... although I loved my Beemers... the Guzzi is the one I get most emotional about...

Come on NZ Guzzi owners,
We don't have Covid in the The South Island - do we?
Get them bikes out on the highways - even bring your trusty Beemer (my mates taking his!)
Hoping to travel down from the North island next weekend to Hamner Springs to celebrate100 years of Guzzi

Covid doesn't stop riding here, either, but the weather does ... OK, for wusses like me, anyway. :giggle:

But, our daffodils are getting ready to pop, and next week is looking great. That's a brief warmish preview before a return to brrrrrr, but in a Mid-Atlantic March one takes what one get. My V7 III has been getting concierge-level detailing and is road ready. It looks better than it did on delivery and, FTM, probably better than when crated in Mandello.

Oops. Just realized I said all of that and posted a pic, neither of which has beemer v. V85 content. Oh, well. HRH just handed me today's Honey-Do List.

Ciao.
