GTM V7 2>1 v2.0 Info & Installation info

I have a bit of an odd question. I have invested in a Pit-Bull stand for my V7, and I love it. Is this 2-1 exhaust compatible with this stand? It doesn't appear to be, but I can't really tell and wanted to ask. Pit bull product code F0096-000, it has two forks that hold the bike up by the frame crossmember behind the stock exhaust H-pipe.

Thank you.

I have been using Pit Bull stands since their inception in the early 90’s, around the racetracks of the Southeast US. I’m a dealer, but I cannot sell them cost effectively, so I’ve removed them from my site. I use them in my GTM workshop.
Next I have a customer bike in the shop with the 2>1, I’ll look. I believe it will if; 1. You reverse the direction of the stand, meaning you lift from the right side of the bike, pushing the handle down and forward, instead of left side back. 2. It may also work if you remove the muffler. Easy enough to do.

Hi all,

I am trying to install the 2>1 UB shorty on. 2016 V7ii stone.

For the first picture: I slid the flange from the other side as others noted. It goes in slightly more but no where near flush. Is that correct ?

Second picture: I don’t know frame support connects to. That picture is with the exhaust slipped in as little as possible to have the most amount of length. I tried to gauge from the picture listed on the first page, but can’t tell.

Thanks!

The headers must seat completely into the heads. They will. The clamp goes towards the rear frame connector tube as shown earlier in this thread. I would recommend having someone who is more experienced help you.

As said above the header must go much further in, loosen all the exhaust mountings and work from the head towards the rear, also Ithink you have the pipe retaining clamp 180 degrees out, slide it back and twist it round

Figured it out last night. Had to reverse the frame support bracket on the Y pipe. That gave that space needed. So just a heads up
