does anyone know whether the Breva Rosso from 2005 is the same Rosso that Moto Guzzi used on the Stelvio 2006?
I am asking because I still cannot find a Akzo Nobel paint for my 2005 Breva but found something coming up for a 2006 Stelvio.
The Breva 1100 Rosso code apparently is: 5.4D.23.441
The Stelvio 2006 Rosso code is: DS08040

They *may* look almost the same in pictures on different bikes , but if you painted one piece with each , and compared them side by side, I’d bet they would not be the same.

Not to mention what they were applied over, Dark/light primer, thickness of paint... it can be a nightmare.
Don’t get me started with tri-coats !
(Base + Perl + Clear )

Are you doing “Everthing” or just a touch up ?

I was going to just touch up stone chips in the mud guard.

The Breva paint does not look like perlescent paint.....

No no I’m not saying it was, but that is an incredible pain to match that stuff.
I tried touching up a couple of deep scratches in my left pannier. It's Bianca Perla. I got the two bottles of touch-up paint. One is bianca and the other perla. I spent hours on the job and lets just say it does not look great.

It’s not that simple a job, my brothers pretty good at it, but I won’t touch those touch up’s ...

I had the front mudguard repainted a few years ago. The paint used was, according to the label, PPG Deltron FRD(?) M6729A. I may be misreading the FRD bit as it's not to clear. Hope this helps.

I don't know the paint code off the top off my head but I have the pearl white norge
I needed some for a touch up on a scaped pannier I couldn't afford the paint from the main dealer so I went to my local company that my father trades with for his business and they matched it to Toyota Avensis pearl white half the price but still that bloody tricoat stuff and it matches perfect so I wold say see if you could get it paint matched by an automotive company
