Just wanting to see if anyone here has a line on the Moto Guzzi 605853m tall windshield bracket? I ordered it and the wide windshield 3 months ago from my local dealer.Got the windshield and hardware about 4 weeks ago but was still waiting on the Bracket kit.Dealer said they went thru AF1 Racing so I called them today to see about the status only to be told that the bracket has been discontinued and will not be made anymore-Plus here's a nice kicker they said my local dealer had never contacted them.Contacted my dealer and they said they had no idea it was not avaliable and said AF1 was contacted. My lovely dealer then said they would not take back the tall/wide windshield but they would refund me for the unavaliable bracket less 10% restock charge! How do you restock a item I never got.So now I have a windshield with no way to mount it.Sorry to be so long winded but I needed to vent.If you know of anyone who has the bracket new or used let me know as it seems with the 1400's some parts are already being discontinued.

I bought two new exhaust headers fit my 2014 custom. I’m in the UK. I was told they were discontinued. I argued that they were still being fitted to the touring, the MGX21 and (in black) to the Audace. They said “Guzzi does this frequently”.

Anyway they (the headers) magically appeared two weeks later. Meanwhile I had looked on several online Guzzi parts websites here and they did show as discontinued, so they were probably right.

Who knows what happens? The 1400 Touring is only just end-of-life and from the parts network, it would appear that obtaining certain parts is not possible. However EU law states that products must be maintained for a number of years after EOL, I think it's 10 but that is a guess.

Try Theo Lammers in the Netherlands (TLM Nijmegen). You get truth and probably the bracket too.

I hear ya on the rant.
I am now on the fence about buying a second 1400 after stopping in over the weekend at the local guzzi dealer... that is no longer a guzzi dealer:( said they have absolutely had it trying to get any parts or dealing with Piaggio. When I get a chance I'll post my own thread and ask for some opinions. Best of luck to you on getting your part though

I Ihink you're right - no more genuine Moto Guzzi windscreen kits for the 1400 unless they are in stock somewhere.

You can try ordering the parts (individually) off of the parts microfiche. Pricy that way, but there are some still in stock.
